City Centre South Development Continues:
As one place is destroyed, another is being built. City Centre South is going under development.
Councillor Jim O’Boyle said, “The demolition is imminent.”
The “site will be the first of residential blocks going on here, we will see them coming out of the ground, as well as a number of social houses will be appearing.”
“When full development is in swing, 500 workers will be working here, and of course, when we invest in our city, investors come to our city.”
“New homes, new shops, new venues and plenty of green spaces. City Centre South is really taking shape.”
Ball Hill clean-up scheme:
Coventry City Council have been working with residents of Ball Hill to improve the area. This is after further advancements in the budget that can be used to invest in the City.

Councillor Hetherton said, “We have invested in Ball Hill.”
“We will be taking the improvements and be able to take it elsewhere.”
“Thanks to the extra funding, we are able to invest in things we have wanted to do for a long time”
Coventry Running Festival:

Coventry Running Festival is coming to Coventry on Sunday, 19th April. Council posted a graphic to advertise the 10k and half-marathon in partnership with Run for All.
They are looking for volunteers to help with the route marshalling, drink stations and village staff.
As a reward, Run For All is giving participants a free admission to a future 10k or half-marathon.
