Telford tigers Roar a 7-4 win!

On a cool night in Telford the final game of the Planet Ice national division begins for the Telford Tigers, as they face against the Bristol Pitbulls. With an attendance of 963! The buzzer rings at 6pm we are off, drums are banged as the crowd chants ‘Tigers’ riling up the players.

Netminder Brad Day has now overtaken John Wolfe to claim the Tigers all-time leading appearances with 316 games.

4th minute and Telford Tigers score their first goal! Scored by number 67 Patrick brown from Canada and assisted by 26 Deakan Fielder from England.

AND ANOTHER! Tigers extended the deficit by two within a minute as the pit bulls defence were unable to contend with Scott Mckenzie and Tate Shundra.

Within less than five minutes the Telford Tigers are up by two, looking to claim another win at home before the playoffs.

At the 6th minute Patrick Brown receives a two minute penalty for cross checking as he used the shaft of the stick held with both hands to push a rival player.

10th minute and Bristol Pitbulls cinch their first goal brining the score to 2-1. Scored by number 26 and assisted by numbers 91 and 10.

13th minute and the Telford tigers have pulled their lead ahead by yet another point, scored by Tate Shudra and assisted by Nick Oliver.

With a loud and riveting crowd, the players on and off the rink are sure to have adrenaline coursing through their body as they come closer and closer to claiming a home win at their final game of the season.

16th minute and David Thomson for Tigers and number 29 Calum McGill for the Pitbulls both receive 2 minute minor penalties for roughing getting both teams down to 5 players as it is only a minor they cannot make na substitution.

At the 18th minute Kyle Ferguson gets a 2 minute minor penalty for boarding, leaving him in the sin bin for the first 58 seconds on the second quarter.

We end of the first period the score at 3-1 to Telford tigers.

Within less than 10 minutes separating them Bristol Pitbulls bring the score tied again to 3-3, scoring at the 21st minute by number 19 then the 27th by number 26.

26th minute and Kyle Ferguson receives a 2 minute penalty for slashing.

And the Tigers are back ahead with another goal at 31.08 scored by number 16 Finley Howells. However almost 5 minutes later the Bristol Pitbulls tie the score yet again at the 36th minute scored by number 7.  

A second later in the 36th minute and the gloves are off! 84 Kyle Ferguson and Pitbulls 26 fight, both receiving a 5 minute penalty.

At the end of the second quarter, it is tied 4-4.

GOAL! 48th minute scored by Louie Newell and assisted by David Thomson, it was an even handed goal.

At the 50th minute number Harry Ferguson receives a 2 minute minor penalty for holding, giving the Pitbulls a power play.

The Tigers score again!! Bringing the score to 6-4, at the 54th minute by Eric Henderson assisted by Nick Oliver.

58th minute and goal SEVEN! David Thomson assisted by Eric Henderson and Scott McKenzie as the Net was WIDE OPEN!

With this goal Eric Henderson reaches 100 goals this season!
